Bereavement and grief are difficult to choose to work through in counseling. Accepting and adjusting to a loss is very different for each person; many different factors surrounding the loss, culture, and other factors can determine this.


Common symptoms of grief can be emotional, social, and even physical.  Anything from loss of a job, isolation leading to changes in relationships, and friendships, to medical related illnesses, can be unwanted symptoms.
